I'll tell you right now. I'll probably show up to your session with an iced coffee and my Bluetooth speaker, jamming out, playing something country (don't worry, if you're strongly opposed to that genre, I'll find something for ya).
We're going to have fun. We're going to laugh. We'll be fast friends. Got kids? No worries. I'm on their time, and we'll get on their level so everyone is comfortable. Not sure about posing? Don't worry, I've got you.
This is what relaxes me and I hope to put you at total ease when we work together. That's what is most important to me -- that you feel comfortable, feel yourself.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
« I travel up to 50 miles from my home base with no cost to you. Anything beyond 50 miles will accrue a travel fee which can be discussed upon planning.
Can you recommend any good locations?
« Absolutely! As a native of the ESVA, I have several ideal locations for your session. In my back pocket, I have places like a cute little private beach, a quiet nature trail with a wooden bridge, a spacious pet-friendly park, and several ideal downtown locations to name a few.

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
« I like to joke that I become a meteorologist the week prior to your session. I study the radar like it's my job (kind of is, honestly). If we have to postpone, we will. You would prefer not to look like a drowned rat and I prefer not to chance ruining my equipment, so if at all possible, we will find a mutually agreed upon reschedule date.
Weddings, on the other hand, we're rolling with it. Come rain, hail, hurricanes, all of it. We're getting you married no matter the weather!

how quickly will i receive my gallery?
« It all depends on your session. For shorter sessions (20-30 mins), expect 2 weeks maximum. For longer sessions (60-90 mins), expect up to 4 weeks. Weddings will typically be no more than 3 months.
Can you assist with coordinating outfits?
« Of course! Give me whatever you've got - an extended family session, a maternity session, senior portraits, etc. I'd love to help as I know it can be challenging trying to coordinate all that.
do you release raw photos?
« Indeed I do not.
what if I have to reschedule due to a non-weather related reason?
« I'm so flexible, yall. Life happens. I have kids, I get it. They get sick. You get called in to work and there's nothing you can do about it [hey, I'm in healthcare, I understand this]. Your great aunt Mabel decided YESTERDAY she's coming to visit this weekend and you've got to postpone.
Just give me as much notice as you can as a courtesy (remember, I've got a husband staying back to watch the kids while I come out with you) and we will find a date that works!
HOW MANY IMAGES CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE IN MY GALLERy?
Depends on the length of the session, honestly, but I'll let you in on a big secret: I've never been big on limiting the # of images you receive. Honestly, if it's a good quality photo, it's yours. What am I going to do with a bunch of photos of you + your family otherwise?! Have them. The only time you'll see a smaller gallery from me is seasonal minis, and that's simply due to time. Even still, I generally will send you more than what I quote, just a habit.
